Curiosity and

constant innovation

Amager Bryghus is a curious brewery. Curious about new ingredients, new beer types and new production methods. Constant curiosity and constant innovation are a condition for remaining an interesting and relevant brewery in a constantly changing beer market. Resting on previous achievements will take you nowhere.

Our beer portfolio consists of 10-15 core beers, which we try to keep in our range at all times. In addition, we brew a handful of different seasonal beers. And then we typically brew 20-30 new beers a year, where we both reflect the trends of the time or we go in a completely different direction and bring back an old beer style, simply because it's interesting and deserves it.

Barrel Aged

beers

Although we have a lot of beers in our standard line up, we don’t really want to brew the same beers all the time.

We totally admit to be playful kids with a chronic desire to explore and experiment. One of the things we really like is to acquire used oak barrels and fill them with good Amager beer.

Through the years we have played with barrels previously containing whisk(e)y from Scotland, Ireland and the US, with red wine barrels from Spain, South Africa, France – even Sweden and Denmark. And also more exotic booze like tequila, mezcal, port wine, sherry and Grand Marnier. The beery result of the barrel aging is often a very unique experience with several extra dimensions added to the beer.

Outside inspiration:

collaboration beers

We love guests and not least those who come to brew a beer with us. We believe it is important to be inspired and followed in the furiously fast development of the beer world – and at the same time have a nice day over good beer, good food and lots of nerdy beer talk.

Over the years we have brewed with Jester King, 3 Floyds, Surly, Prairie, Cigar City, Angry Chair, Half Acre, Crooked Stave, Fonta Flora, Pipeworks, Trillium and many, many more.

gift boxes

and corporate gifts

In the shop at the brewery we typically always have between 25-30 different kinds of beer for sale, as well as several varieties of gift boxes, beer glasses and .m.

We also offer to make larger orders of prepackaged gift boxes for use by corporate gifts, etc.

Private

Label

If a chain of stores, a company or similar wants to have its own specially designed label – a so-called private label – then it can easily be done.

It is also possible to brew your very own unique beer, developed in collaboration with our brewer and finished with your own label and logo.

Minimum order is approximately 3,000 bottles or 2,300 cans.

Examples:

One of Our Own, Canned Lagerøl for White Hart Danes, Tottenham's Fan Club In Denmark

Skovserøl, spicy lager beer made canned for supermarket in Skovshoved.

Evening baths, Pale Ale made in bottle for the restaurant chain Sticks'n'Sushi

Saison with elderflower made in bottle for Restaurant Noma
