Six years it was going to be before Amager Bryghus brewed a Brown Ale, but now it's here. In typical Amager manners, we couldn't help but give it a little more character and a little more hops than the typical Brown Ale. Dragør Brown is a beautiful nut brown beer with a dense and creamy foam. The scent features subtle chocolate tones and a breath of fresh air from the American Cascade hops. The taste starts with a light sweetness from the Munich malt and then slips into a lightly toasted character with a touch of dark chocolate without ever being sweet. The hops are present without the beer in any way becoming particularly bitter.
